The last thing you expect from a cosmetic procedure is for it to go wrong. Unfortunately in a highly unregulated industry mistakes happen more often than they should.

With the increasing popularity of social media cosmetic surgery has become increasingly popular in the UK over the last decade. With more and more people undergoing procedures at private clinics, hospitals and sometimes at home, the risks involved and incidences of bad practice, have increased too.

The laws surrounding cosmetic procedures aren’t as robust as they should be, and unregulated beauty therapists can carry out non-surgical treatments, such as dermal fillers, Botox and chemical peels with little to no formal training.

The consequences of a cosmetic procedure going wrong can be devastating, leading to physical, emotional and financial suffering. The procedures themselves are often expensive, so it’s no wonder that it can be incredibly upsetting when that procedure then goes wrong.

If you have had a cosmetic procedure that has gone wrong due to negligence, then you have the option to make a claim for compensation. Common injuries include burns, allergic reactions to products used and unpleasant side effects. As with any procedure, minor side effects can be anticipated, but on-going problems should be investigated and legal advice sought. It is possible that you could be entitled to compensation.

If we identify your claim as one that should be pursued, the claim is usually lodged against the clinic where you had your treatment, and most commonly will be dealt with by their insurance company. We will also do our best to investigate whether there is corrective treatment available which could help with any on-going symptoms, such as scarring.

If you instruct is to deal with your claim, we will ensure that you are fully supported throughout your claim. To us, you will never be just another number, in fact, we only act for a limited number of clients at any one time, which means you and your claim will receive the attention it deserves.

If we accept your case, we will act under a ‘No Win No Fee’ agreement and cover all necessary disbursements. If your claim is not successful, you do not need to pay us anything. To book your free 30 minute chat at a time and date convenient to you, click here.

I have worked closely with Elena throughout my claim process. She has provided great advice and explained the process in detail. It is the first time I had to go through this and it has been a hassle free process. Would definitely be recommending her to anyone that needs an injury solicitor. Thank you!! :)
